Editorial

Technical Editor — Cybersecurity

BostonFull-time

You will be the last technical reader before a security title goes to print. Every claim, command and screenshot gets checked against current tooling, and anything that no longer behaves as written comes back to the author with a reproducible note.

What you will do
  • Run the technical pass on security manuscripts, chapter by chapter
  • Verify commands, flags and tool output against current versions
  • Work with authors to rewrite sections that no longer hold up
  • Keep titles aligned to certification objectives as vendors revise them
What we are looking for
  • Hands-on security experience — SOC, red team, GRC or similar
  • A track record of writing or reviewing technical material
  • Comfort saying a chapter is wrong, and explaining exactly why
To apply, email your resume and cover letter to info@corydon-publications.com with Application for Technical Editor — Cybersecurity role in the subject line.

If you are a good fit, we will contact you. Please note: we receive hundreds of applications every day and we are not able to respond to each one. You will only be contacted if you are found to be the best fit.

Engineering

Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Next.js / Node)

Sydney, AustraliaContract

Build and maintain the storefront and reader-facing services that our books are sold and read through. This is a hands-on contract role with real ownership over what ships.

What you will do
  • Build features across the Next.js front end and Node services
  • Own checkout, entitlements and the reader handoff to CertLabz
  • Keep page performance honest — our readers are often on poor connections
  • Review pull requests and keep the codebase something people want to work in
What we are looking for
  • Strong production experience with Next.js and Node
  • Comfort owning a feature end to end, from schema to CSS
  • Ability to work independently across time zones
To apply, email your resume and cover letter to info@corydon-publications.com with Application for Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Next.js / Node) role in the subject line.

Engineering

Platform Engineer — Reader experience

San Antonio, TXHybridFull-time

Keep the reading platform fast, available and boring to operate. If a reader in a weak-signal area can still open their book and keep their notes, you have done the job.

What you will do
  • Own the infrastructure behind the reader and its sync layer
  • Improve offline reading, sync reliability and cold-start times
  • Build the observability that tells us a problem before a reader does
  • Automate the deploy path so releases are unremarkable
What we are looking for
  • Experience running production systems, not just building them
  • Depth in one cloud, containers and infrastructure as code
  • A bias toward simple systems that fail in predictable ways
To apply, email your resume and cover letter to info@corydon-publications.com with Application for Platform Engineer — Reader experience role in the subject line.

If you are a good fit, we will contact you. Please note: we receive hundreds of applications every day and we are not able to respond to each one. You will only be contacted if you are found to be the best fit.

Design

Senior Book Designer (print & digital)

Miami, FLOn-siteFull-time1099 contractor

Design books that people actually finish. Technical material lives or dies on typography, hierarchy and how code sits on a page — in print and on screen.

What you will do
  • Design interiors and covers for print and digital editions
  • Own the type system, code-block treatment and figure standards
  • Prepare press-ready files and work directly with our printers
  • Keep the digital edition faithful to the printed one
What we are looking for
  • A portfolio of long-form book or manual design
  • Fluency in InDesign and a working understanding of print production
  • Patience with tables, diagrams and 400 pages of monospace
To apply, email your resume and cover letter to info@corydon-publications.com with Application for Senior Book Designer (print & digital) role in the subject line.

  • Work with editorial on cover concepts and launch positioning
  • Keep the visual language consistent as the catalogue grows
What we are looking for
  • A brand-led portfolio with real campaign work

Content Lead — Sales Programs

What you will do
  • Own the content program behind launches, bundles and the subscription
  • Write and edit sample chapters, guides and comparison material
  • Build the email and lifecycle sequences readers actually open
  • Report on what converts and cut what does not
What we are looking for
  • Experience leading content for a technical or education product
  • Genuinely strong writing — you will be edited by editors
  • Comfort with analytics and honest reporting on your own work
